Virgle - The Adventure of Many Lifetimes or Great April Fool’s Joke?

I just recently saw a Youtube Video about Project Virgle, the first permanent human colony on Mars.

Virgle is a joint venture between Google and Richard Branson’s Virgin to establish the first permanent human colony on Mars.

There is already a couple web pages dedicated to Virgle that google has posted…

The Adventure of Many Lifetimes

Become a Pioneer

The 100 Year Plan

Open Source Planet

So, I am not really sure what to think of Project Virgle.

Is it true, or has google just landed one of the best April Fool’s Pranks of all time?

There are already hundreds of youtube video responses to the Virgle video to “Apply to be a Virgle pioneer

You can see all the responses here.

I thought it was interesting that most of the videos were created right around April 1st (April Fools Day), and it does seem a little far fetched.

But anyways… you decide…

Is Project Virgle “The Adventure of Many Lifetimes” or A Great April Fool’s Joke?

Hey Ryan, To tell you the truth I don’t believe in life on other planets? so as far as I am concerned it is a great
April Fools Prank. But that’s just my opinion. It would be nice to be a reality, because we could use it, there are to many people on this planet already, and could move some to another, but I think that is just a fantasy.

Ryan,

You remember Branson’s dress up in “nude color” clothing and scale a building publicity ploy, don’t cha?

However, if anyone has the nuts to invest loads of cash in a project such as this, it’s the B-man…

If he succeeds, I’ll buy some real estate there, as long as I could get my mortgage payments below $5K per month and find a lender willing to use property on Mars as collateral ;-)

Hi Ryan,
Sergey said sometimes in the next 20 years!
In the next 10 years we will be so far advanced that by then anything is possible! However I don’t want to go period. I would rather tour planet earth first.
Thanks for your tips
Micki

Hi Ryan,

It is difficult to say whether this has actually been discussed, however, Richard Branson is very far advanced in building a space ship that will take people into space before very long and the first trip has already sold out.

I would suggest that we reserve the space on Mars for all of the undesirables that are currently floating around.

It was said of the locals,in a secluded area of So America up in the unpopulated area of one of the Mts. that Marconi & Tesla used to make trips back & forth from the moon, they had science that was incredible, but had to move there to practice because of the people complaining who were their neighbors. Tesla could harness the earth’s energy & 20 miles away created a lace pattern of electricity crackling under the people feet, with one of his experiments,& shorted out all the lights.
It was told they had found a way to travel ito space 7 be back by the next day. It was like a vortex, so perhaps currently, something new may have been found. No matter what happens in this world, God sees the beginning to the end,& if He had a purpose for others to relocate, He would provide the knowledge. Jesus said we are not of this world,& He is bringing the New Jerusalem back to this world, coming in the air,& it’s huge as a state. I just want to be where He is going to live& see the demonstrations of God & what He wants us to understand. He travels the universe, we are created in His image & likeness, why wouldn’t we have it in our veins to explore the outer regions of our Universe. It makes perfect sense that we are interested in the things He is interested in. Talk to Him today, HLYNMW He Loves You No Matter What. Receive what He has for you. God Bless You
