My New Flip Video Camera!

(First off… sorry for the audio quality… it was REALLY windy when I was recording this flip video.)

I just wanted to do a quick video to try out my new flip video camera.

It is actually a really cool camera, and EXTREMELY user friendly.

Enjoy the video!

UPDATE: I have already had a TON of people ask me what model camera I was using. Here is a link to the exact camera that I bought on Amazon… My Flip Camera

Hi Ryan,

Excellent picture with that camera.
I have been looking at it too, maybe I am going to buy it.
Can’t loose any money with it.

Best Wishes on your move to Florida.

Good stuff. I been thinking about getting me one.

I thought the quality was really good and the audio was not terrible really even though it was soo windy.

Hi Ryan;
The video came out good, and I had no problem with the audio.
I really wanted to thank you for your help, and I look forward to your emails, I know they are going to make a difference in my GDI business, I have neglected it so long, I have been in GDI for about the same time as Marty and Christina. but I was always looking other places. well I’m back again.
Thanx again,
Hal Norton

Ryan, that’s some really nice quality video!

Looks like the flip phone was worth it. Will be really good at Frank Kern’s event where wind shouldn’t be an issue. Make sure to get some good stuff and have fun!

P.S.: Did I see you leave the ground there for a second ? ;-)

G’day Ryan

I think you really only wanted to show off your one-handed-kite-flying skills to the world dude!

I checked out the product details via the link imbedded in the above post - and I think you have introduced me to the ideal little video tool for my needs.

All I’ve got to do now is find out how I can pick up a unit here in Australia!

When did you first start using videos for your online business and what kind of an impact did posting have?

Regards
Michael Searles

Hey Ryan we all know technology moves at a rapid pace so now I am left wondering as to what the 300-700 dollar cameras have over the new flip?

#12 Ryan on 04.14.08 at 2:47 pm

Hey J.,

I am not really sure. The flip is great for what I need it for… and it only cost $150.

I am flip all the way from now on… :)

I’ve had mine now for a little over a year, and I love it. I’ve already posted several vacation videos to YouTube and they all came out pretty good. Sound quality is off, but that’s to be expected with their builtin microphone. I do wish mine had an external headphone jack input - maybe future models? Mine is a Pure Digital model 225, and I think I only paid like $80 for it originally.
