I Didn’t Expect This …

I wrote a blog post the other day titled “Want Your Own Blog?.”

Honestly, I didn’t expect to get much feedback from it … I thought ‘maybe’ a couple people would be interested in it.

Well … turns out I was wrong.

The results have been almost overwhelming.

First off, the post Want Your Own Blog?, has received almost 30 positive comments at the time of this writing.

Next, I have literally received DOZENS of emails wanting into this program… I don’t even have a program yet. I mentioned in my blog post the other day that this was purely hypothetical.

BUT… now that I know there is a demand for something like this, and my readers would really benefit from this, I am going to start putting together something.

Here is where I need your help though…

I need to know what type of program you would be interested in.

1. I could develop a low price membership site about blogging (maybe $19 - $29 / month).

The site would contain the usual… back office, forum, etc, and I would do weekly lessons about blogging to help you get yours up and running.

Anybody could take part in this site, and because there would be no “one on one” time… I could take on a lot of members… (anyone could join)

- OR -

2. I could develop a “hands on” type training with exclusive access to me.

Now, because this would be a very personal type program, I would charge a lot more for my time… (maybe a one time fee of $197 or $297)

BUT … this program would be limited to a MAX of 20 people. I really couldn’t handle much more than that, so not everyone could take part in this.

So, I wanted to ask you what you thought about the two options above, and welcome any comments or feedback you had about them.

Would you prefer (option 1) - the low priced membership model, or (option 2) - the high priced coaching club… (and more importantly.. would you join it if I built it?)

Because of all the response I have received, I am leaning more towards building a site like (option 1), but I want to know what your thoughts are.

I look forward to reading all of your comments.

To Your Ultimate Success,

Ryan

Well, I am glad to see that you are receiving such a good response! I am not at all shocked though. Blogging is a great alternative to buying a domain, building or paying someone to build a site for you, etc. I think you would probably do better with the first option, but you know your prospective “enrollees” better than I do. Also, it depends on how indepth you want your training to be, ie, how much time you have to dedicate to the prgram, etc. If there is anything I can do to help just give a shout!

Ryan, seems like a good idea, I would go for option #1
people could learn from each other, unfortunaetly at the moment I can’t afford either option,I am totally maxed out, trying to keep My PIPS (PlugInProfitSite) and my GRN RFS going.
All the best

Hey Ryan,

Ha… just talked to Mrs. York about a project I’m doing for her banquet tonight and she had laughed really funny and went “that’s a Ryan Wade laugh for ya!”

Anywho, I’d definitely be interested in signing up for either… I’m DESPERATE to get out of the 9-5 (7:30-4:30 for me…) and HAVE to make a move soon or I’ll probably shoot myself.

I have a ton of ideas and probably have a little A.D.H.D. trying to focus on one. I’ve been reading a lot of books, some of which help… some don’t. But definitely keep me posted on any projects like this you’re planning on doing.

I don’t need to get rich… I just need to make a living away from this place. It’s literally making me sick.

Take care,
Stephan Noack

I would prefer #1 also. This allows us to learn on our own free time. If the majority goes for #2 I would find a way to do that too.

Ryan,
I’m not into blogging at this time. If i were into it i would opt for #1. Thanks anyway & keep up the good work.
Thanks again

Ryan… could you elablorate on what option #2 might include above and beyond option #1?

IMHO… one-time payments are good, especially if the extra added value is there of getting access to you and getting everything going from A-Z.

I mentioned to my own list tonight that you might be doing this. I’ll have them pop on over and comment.

I am willing to learn, there is so much I have to learn about marketing, web design, and what ever I need to move forward. I am searching for an apprenticeship mentor, maybe this is a start.

Ryan;
Okay……How about an Option 3 ?

As you can see in the comments so far, there are those of us who have limited funds and also willing to learn.
So here is the deal concerning an Option #3.

This option would consist of “Increment Payments” so that participants could go as far as they wish to go, or as there funds allowed.

Think of it like this……If a car dealer wants to sell you a fancy sports car without first learning that you are on a limited budget, and that you don’t know how to drive a stick,or that you really want a car that can tow a trailer, what kind of sale do you think would be made ?
